A Ruthin girl is looking forward to a magical trip of a lifetime where she will come face to face with fairytale heroes and entertain them for one night only.
Llio Meirion Rogers and four other talented Urdd National Eisteddfod winners have been picked to perform in front of an international audience at Disneyland Paris' Welsh Festival between March 5 and 7 in front of Cinderella Castle.
The youngsters were congratulated by First Minister, Rhodri Morgan AM and they will also be performing with the Swansea male voice choir on the big day. The five lucky singers are all aged between seven and 18 years old.
Llio, a pupil at Ysgol Pen Barras and winner of the solo competition for pupils in years 3 and 4 in Cardiff Bay in May said: "I'm really excited about the trip to Disneyland Paris. It will be great to be able to sing there as well as enjoy the weekend."
Disneyland Paris and the Urdd National Eisteddfod announced the partnership which would enable five youngsters to celebrate their fantastic talent, earlier this year when Mickey Mouse made a guest appearance at the Eisteddfod.
Rhodri Morgan said: "I know these youngsters will do Wales proud when they appear at the Welsh Festival in Disneyland Paris. It will be a wonderful experience for them and a showcase for the modern relevance of our long standing musical traditions and the talent we have in Wales."
Peter Welch, Vice President Commercial Disney Destinations International said, "As a proud Welshman myself, the Welsh Festival at Disneyland Paris is something we are proud of as an opportunity to showcase different elements of the Welsh culture and providing these five people with the opportunity to sing to our guests in front of the Castle will be a memorable occasion."
